Kiwanis Scholarships

Baraboo Kiwanis Scholarships

The Baraboo Kiwanis Club awards three scholarships each year to deserving students in the Baraboo Community.  Each scholarship is in the amount of $1000. 

Baraboo Kiwanis Ron LaMasney Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount: $2000
  • Date of graduation from Baraboo High School: Within the last four years
  • Intended career and/or major: A career related to the construction building trades. A student who plans to pursue a technical education in the fields of engineering, architecture, construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, masonry or other related construction trades
  • Intended school: Any accredited two or four-year college or vocational school
  • Personal characteristics: A sincere desire for further education
  • Full or part-time student: Full-time
  • Time limit for use of money: Must be used within one year of Honors Night. Request for scholarship funding must be postmarked on or before February 15 of the scholarship year
  • Schedule of payment: Payment upon proof of registration
  •  Eligibility if other scholarship money is received: May be awarded regardless of any other scholarships received.
  • Naming of alternate or return of money to fund if first selection becomes ineligible: If by August 15 the recipient becomes ineligible, the money will be awarded to an alternate.
  • Other information: Applicants can reapply. However, each recipient cannot receive more than four Baraboo Kiwanis Club Scholarships.

Baraboo Kiwanis Harlan Lambert Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount: $2000
  • Date of graduation from Baraboo High School: Current year
  • Intended career and/or major: Any worthwhile career
  • Intended school: Any accredited two or four-year college or vocational school
  • Personal characteristics: A sincere desire for further education
  • Extra-curricular activities: Extensive volunteer service including active membership in Key Club
  • Full or part-time student: Full-time
  • Time limit for use of money: Must be used within one year of Honors Night, Request for scholarship funding must be postmarked on or before February 15 of the scholarship year
  • Schedule of payment: Payment upon proof of registration
  • Eligibility if other scholarship money is received: May be awarded regardless of any other scholarships received. 16. Naming of alternate or return of money to fund if first selection becomes ineligible: If by August 15 the recipient becomes ineligible, the money will be awarded to an alternate.
  • Other requests: Must be current Key Club member for at least two years and active participation in Key Club

Baraboo Kiwanis Robert C. Dewel Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount: $2000
  • Date of graduation from Baraboo High School: Within the last four years
  • Class per cent: Top 20%
  • Intended career and/or major: Preference for music, history or journalism
  • Intended school: Any accredited two- or four-year college or vocational school
  • Extra-curricular activities: Community service desired; special consideration given to volunteers at Al Ringling Theatre or the Sauk County Historical Society.
  • Full or part-time student: Full-Time
  • Time limit for use of money: Within one year of Honors Night.
  • Schedule of payment: Two payments of 1/2 of the scholarship amount. One Fall semister and the second spring semester upon proof of registration, Request for scholarship funding must be postmarked on or before February 15 of the scholarship year.
  • Eligibility if other scholarship money is received: Give regardless of any other scholarships received.
  • Naming of alternate or return of money to fund if first selection becomes ineligible: If by August 15 the recipient becomes ineligible, an alternate will be chosen.
